SEEMANTONNAYAN    OR  BABY   SHOWER

This ritual is performed in between 5th to 8th month. This is very similar to now a days Baby-Shower.
We perform the Havan, blessings and special prayer for all three, Mother to be, Father to be and the Baby.

JATKARMA  or WELCOMIN NEW BORN BABY AT HOME

This ritual is performed when baby is about to come home from Hospital.
We do perform Havan for House Shuddhi (Purification of the house with special herb) to make sure for decontamination and purification. Havan, prayer and blessing are part of the Pooja.

Name Ceremony is the big part of baby’s life. Name reflect whole life. Time is recommended 10thday of the birth till 100 days. Now a days name is already selected in Hospital, but ritual part still, can be perform.

We perform the Havan-Pooja, prayers, blessings and declaration of the official name of the Baby.

Ritual is performed to feed first time solid food to the Baby. Recommended time is 4 month to 1 year baby. 

Ritual is perform with Havan-Pooja, prayers, blessings and special food prepared for Baby, which is fed to baby 1rst time.

Ritual is performed to have Baby’s very 1st haircut. Time is recommended 1 year to 7 years.
In ceremony, we do perform Havan-Pooja, prayers.  Hair Cut and blessing for the baby. Also needed a haircut expert to perform the complete haircut.

Ritual is very old tradition, when student return home after finishing the higher Education and Acharya gives his last massage to student.
We perform the Havan-Pooja, Prayers and blessings and read the final notes by Acharya, from Upnishas.
Now a days we perform the ritual at High-School graduation time.

Special Havan-Pooja is performed for Shanti. It could be due to death, after death of after cremation this is performed. It could be in general reason to have shanti at home, in life and being peaceful. Havan-pooja, Ved-Mantra chanting, related bhajan singing and blessings are part of the Shanti Havan.
